Montgomery County Police Sports Club

The PSC is an all-year long program! The program has two facets, the first being connections and the second being the competitive sports. The program is broken up into 4 seasons Fall, Winter, Spring and Summer. Each season will have a championship tournament, where we as mentors, teachers, leaders and parents come out to support individual students and/or the school. We are still in the infancy stage of the program, so after all team selections are completed, I’ll personally contact all parents and answer any additional questions and officially kickoff the program.  

There will be in-season games. These games will primarily be played during recess at your child's participating school.

 Each school will be placed in a group and as the particular season progresses, the schools will compete against each other in Group Play (SITE TBD). In conclusion of each season there will be a championship tournament where the best 4 (Basketball) 11 (soccer) from each school are selected based on skill-set, grades, behavior, attendance, leadership are selected by school staff.

No problem, the other facet of the PSC is the Police Student Connection (PSC). Upon school administration selection and parent approval, students will have consistent and positive encounters with Montgomery County Police community engagement officers outside of sports. Lunch bunches, board games, Q&A sessions, etc.

NOTHING. The PSC is a free program. 

The TIME spent is KEY

There is no particular entity more important than another in this program. This program will grow from the teamwork "the village" concept.

Note: Every student interested or selected by school administration has been given a permission form. 

Registration will be confirmed when the permission slip is completed and returned to school. 

*NOTE: Although it is a FREE program this is a competitive league as well, students that are selected and remain in the program based on their behavior, attendance, leadership, sportsmanship, grades and/or any additional criteria set forth by school administration.
